The intel that doesn’t fit in a glossy brochure. Click a question — these are John’s actual answers, on the record.
It isn't a master-planned neighborhood with a clubhouse tacked on. It's a real hometown — its own town square, K-12 schools, a 480-acre lake, 50+ miles of trails and a power grid fed by an 870-acre solar field right next door.

The literal heart of the town — restaurants, the Sunday farmers market, Food Truck Fridays, live music on the lawn and a dock where every weekend ends with sunset over Lake Babcock.

Hike, bike, e-bike or paddle through pine flatwoods, slough preserves and a 14,000-acre nature preserve. Half the master-plan land is actual deed-restricted greenspace — no marketing spin here.

Babcock Neighborhood Schools (K-8) and Babcock High smack dab in the middle of the town. Charter, A-rated by the state, walkable from most neighborhoods.

The first utility-scale FPL solar array built to power an entire American town. It's why Babcock Ranch® didn't lose power during Hurricane Ian's Category 4 landfall — while the majority of Southwest Florida went dark.

A 480-acre lake at the center of town. Paddleboards, kayaks and pontoons from the public dock, sunset waterfront dining at Founder's Square and fishing year-round.

Coworking, conference rooms and a small-business incubator built into the town. Fiber-fast, kid-friendly hours and the closest "office" if you're a remote-first family.
Our average FPL bill is $180/month for a 2,800-square-foot house. Our friends in Naples are paying $400 in the same heat.
Real-time pricing, builder-neutral intel and resident-led tours for every new construction neighborhood in Babcock Ranch®, the first solar-powered town in the United States. Free to buyers; builders pay our commission at closing.

“ It feels like a real town. Old-school, but with fiber and solar and trails everywhere.
